Want Hair was created when our founder, Shammy, began his own mission to find a reliable and affordable solution in order to not only bring his hair back, but to restore his long lost confidence.

“As someone who suffered from hair loss in my early thirties, I know exactly how a person's self-confidence can wither. I spent the best part of a decade living with the fact that this was going to be the way I looked forever. Like most people I thought that a hair transplant was only for the 'rich & famous'.”

“I couldn’t afford surgery in the UK so I looked abroad. However in locations like Turkey I quickly realised that the quality of surgery could be anything from exceptional to appalling from clinic to clinic. Therefore I decided that it was imperative to use the UK’s standards as a benchmark. After spending 18 months going from place to place and visiting endless locations, I finally found the dream of having cost-effective surgery without having to compromise on quality. Needless to say, I now feel like a new man, who looks years younger than my old self, regained my confidence and I started to enjoy life to the fullest!”
