By Jude Daunt
At just 10 years old, I was diagnosed with depression. By then, I had already absorbed the belief that I wasn’t clever enough. A throwaway comment from a teacher cemented it. From there, other limiting beliefs followed: life is stressful, money is hard to come by, bad things always happen to me.
Those beliefs didn’t just affect how I felt — they dictated how I lived. I procrastinated, avoided anything difficult, and gave up when challenges arose. Like many people, I fused trauma with identity. Instead of separating what happened to me from what it meant about me, I assumed both were one and the same.
Through bereavement, an eating disorder, and countless setbacks, the pattern repeated: I’d look for evidence that confirmed my beliefs. My brain, wired for safety, clung to those stories even when they kept me small.
My early attempts at success bore the marks of this mindset.
My first live event had just two attendees.
My first retreat? One person.
I was so bad at social media that My mum thought my awkward efforts were a breakdown.
To me, it was all evidence that I wasn’t good enough.
The brain thrives on repetition. What you repeat, you reinforce. Neuroscience shows that the prefrontal cortex — the part of the brain responsible for planning, focus, and self-control — literally strengthens with discipline. But equally thrives on those anxious triggers of avoidance and overwhelm
When I stopped interpreting setbacks as proof of inadequacy and started seeing them as training for resilience, everything shifted.
Instead of saying, “I can't do this?” I asked, “What am I avoiding?”
Instead of resigning myself to “people won't want to work with me,” I sought out people who were experts in marketing
Instead of repeating old stories, I built new evidence — small, consistent wins that compounded over time.
That shift allowed me not just to change my life, but to build a methodology capable of transforming the lives of others.

My work is built on the belief that no trauma, no limiting story, and no past setback has to dictate your future. With the right tools, anyone can train their mind to act with intention, resilience, and abundance.
Because while it may feel deep in the moment, the process is simple: consistent action, empowered belief, and a willingness to seek solutions. That’s how you build a mindset that can withstand anything. That’s how you build an unbreakable life.
