Today, as MD & CEO of United Spirits Ltd and a member of the Diageo Global Executive Committee, he drives transformation, nurtures high-performing teams, and fosters cultures grounded in trust, innovation, and long-term growth.

Praveen began his journey at PepsiCo, where he spent 24 years ascending through senior leadership roles across India and the Asia-Pacific region. He held positions including CEO of India Foods and South Asia Beverages, scaling iconic brands such as Lay’s, Kurkure, and Quaker, while introducing innovative product lines in juices, sports drinks, and low-sugar formulations. His strategic insight not only expanded brand portfolios but also strengthened the connection between consumers, products, and purpose.

After his tenure at PepsiCo, Praveen led HT Media as MD & CEO, overseeing the company’s transformation from a traditional media organization into a digital-first, technology-driven enterprise spanning print, radio, and online platforms. Across every role, he has demonstrated a unique ability to combine operational excellence with a commitment to people development, mentoring leaders and unlocking potential in teams at every level.
